I am a full professor of pure mathematics at Philipps-Universität in the charming medieval town of Marburg / Germany.

Our research group `Differential Geometry and Analysis´ works in a wide range of topics which, beside our core areas, include algebraic topology, harmonic analysis, PDEs, and mathematical aspects of general relativity and gauge theory.

My personal research interests are:

• Spin geometry and Dirac operators
• Holonomy theory of connections with torsion
• Manifolds with non-integrable geometries
• Geometry of homogeneous spaces
